nope isnt working at the moment, even when i press mute on the keyboard

Can you check to see if your mute is working?

Confirm the versions (Finder/Get Info) of S/L/E/ALC8xxHDA.kext and S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext. Attach screenshots of System Information/Audio (Built-in), System Preferences/Sound/Output.

Yeah I think it's working I don't have it right now ill check later today to verify that it is working properly. Thanks so much for getting it working, sounds great on my stereo but I only notice the pops and cracking on my studio headphones lol not a big deal though

I have confirmed Mute is not available for the 887_V100302. The fix results in a sound assertion every 5 seconds. Don't have a solution at this time.

alright well thats perfectly fine for me. My Bose have a mute switch on the remote thing. So it's all goof here. Thanks!
