Hello, if I go to System Preferences>Sound>Output, I see 4 output options, however i would only like 1. This is because if i plug in headphones, the internal speakers(which is my line out) turns into headphones, but it shifts the output choice down to the Line-Out. I want it to always be under Internal speakers, so it is always selected, even when i plug/unplug headphones.

Edit:

Got it working just seemed to be a weird error

I have a similar problem to this, and it is really annoying. Basically what is happening is this: I have my headphones plugged in, but the "audio output" keeps rapidly changing between "headphones" and "internal speakers." This is causing the sound to be really choppy and unusable. Help would my much appreciated!
I'm on a mavericks hackintosh btw. If you need specs or any of that I can give.

I don't know what I did but right after I posted this thread it just worked. It was really odd. Sorry I couldn't help more.
