Audio Distortion in Garageband

I am using osx mavericks on my acer v3 772g

Sound works fine normally but I encounter a problem when using garageband

So I start using garageband and everything is fine - no problems with sound
When I use the keyboard to start playing notes again no problems with the sound

But after say 5 mins of use of playing notes with the on screen keyboard the sound starts to distort and gets worse and worse

If I close garageband and reopen it - sound back to normal


My sound card is ALC 282

Hello,

I am not sure if you still need the solution to your problem. But I had similar issue and installing a driver + Optional 3rd port audio enabler from Multibeast 5.4.3 solved the issue (note that 5.5.5 didn't work).
