Windows device manager or you can tell from data in ioreg.

It is likely ELAN.... in which case, you should have installed PS2 kexts for ELAN.

I don't see a PS2 trackpad. Verify how your trackpad is connected in Windows Device Manager.

It might be connected via I2C. You should also check for a PS2 option in BIOS.

I2C not well supported on OS X (there is some dev/WIP happening [not me], but it is not done).

See if BIOS has an option to switch it to PS2.

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

There is some work being done for I2C. You can google for it. Don't expect it to be done.

Use a USB mouse.
