Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Thanks for your reply. But, sorry. My mistake. My search keyword was "ProArt". Didn't notice that the card I found was a X690. Hence the AM5 socket. But since I don't need Thunderbolt this time, maybe another Z690 from this link https://www.komplett.no/search?q=z690 could work? I tried to find a Z690 Aero from the other Caseysj thread, but couldn't find one. All help is greatly appreciated!
Those other Asus motherboards should work, but the thing to keep in mind is there may likely be a difference in the USB port layout and subsequent port mapping. I don't have any experience with others besides the z690 formula which works well with macOS.

Hey Guys, I'm getting an automatic reboot every time the hackintosh sleeps.
I appreciate any help. (I have 2 6800XT - Display Port) 2 Monitors
Ventura 13.5.1

Thanks

I have

DOMINATOR® PLATINUM RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 DRAM 6200MHz . Geekbench is still very high so I think its OK but RAM seems to be below it's potential.
Try Geekbench 5.5.1, personally I am not familiar with Geekbench 6. So we can compare numbers.

Anyhow.
In that screen your RAM is running at 4200MT which is too low. It says you have 64GB. But you wrote 2x16GB. Are you running 4 sticks? This, as per your post, would be the reason why XMP crashes: you can not expect 4 sticks to run at XMP settings. Unless you tweak it heavily in order to get your system to boot, first, and then be stabile, afterwards. Or you simply remove 2 sticks and keep the other 2 in A2/B2 slots.

Oh yeah I have 4 sticks. Here is the Geekbench 5.5 . Would it be much faster /better if I removed two sticks ? thanks for the insite

Well, it would be better for the benchies, that's for sure.
Why don't you remove two sticks (A1/B1), enable XMP, and test it for yourself? So you can compare numbers.
I would say, expect single core 2150/2200 and multicore 23000/24000 or so.
All in all, it really depends. For example, is your 13900K thermal throttled as well? You can check it under Windows using HWiNFO64 or Intel XTU. but we are going off topic here..

I did not try that board but also used the same EFI on a Asus Z790-E Gaming WIFI and with some minor tweaks to the EFI, I managed to get it booting. Was actually way faster on Geekbench tests than the ProArt[..]
Hi, could you elaborate a bit please? Were both system set with the same hardware and configured the same way in BIOS?

@CaseySJ Thanks for the great build log! Could you modify SSDT-UIAC-ASUS-Z690-PROART-15-PORTS.aml to turn off HS14 and turn on HS09. I don't use Bluetooth or WIFI.
I was surprised when assembling that there is no user replaceable CMOS battery on the Proart. As someone who passes there old computers on to friends and family I've had to replace CMOS batteries when they get old.

Please try the attached V2.

@CaseySJ that worked a treat, Thank You!

My only other problem is Geekbench 6 GPU test is showing "AMD Radeon HD GFX10 Family Unknown Prototype" which I assume is because my Gigabyte RX 6600 XT Gaming OC 8G has 2 HDMI ports and 2 Display ports.

The only difference was the boards, same EFI used to boot both systems with same SSDT's except that for the ProArt I added the Thunderbolt SSDT. I used configured both boards exactly the way @CaseySJ advised in post 1 and have had no issues. Just make sure to update all kexts etc and maybe if you want to make it better with good scores then go into windows, run SSDTTime and add those SSDT's and patches to your config and it will run fast with no issues.
