you probably don't need the feature unlock kexts

also I used to use the CPU friends kexts but didn't really see any benefit from them so decided to delete them

yes... i know, i attached screen a second later...
it just booted ... added my ssdt for keyboard light....
seems ok for now. will post tomorrow how it will behave... no auto boot... i hope

just one more thing for today.
do you use external monitor? if i connect monitor when laptop is turned on i have video on both monitors.
but if monitor is connected before booting i only get video on external.

I have the same issue

I actually now use the DP option on the laptop to hdmi monitor

and that works fine

ahh!

you may have to enable the kext for that!

I disabled it some time ago for some reason or other, maybe to test the Realtek kext and forgot to enable it again

having never needed to use it, it is still left disabled
