Samisnake DUDE you are the freaking man!!!
Thank you so much for the file!!
However Another problem = \
Apple logo with spinning gear.
Listed below step by step is what I did leading up to this problem.
- I use your pre patched bios file
- I successfully flashed patched bios to mother board using coderush guide here:
http://biosrepo.wordpress.com/2013/02/20/how-to-flash-unsupported-motherboards-via-ftk-and-dos/
- I created A unibeast USB with OSX mountain lion on it.
- installed Mountain Lion via unibeast onto a 2TB HARD DRIVE.
- reboot into new mountain lion installation via "-x" command and ran multibeast with the following settings:
- UserDSDT or DSDT-Free Installation
- Audio - Realtek - without DSDT - ALC-892
- Network - Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx v0.0.90
- Customization - Boot options - GraphicsEnabler=No
Rebooted after mulibeast installation and encountered boot0:error
Fixed boot0: error via terminal from link below:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/25-boot0-error-official-guide.html
After fixing boot0: error I am able to boot up computer without the use of the unibeast USB.
However upon booting up I encounter apple logo with spinning gear.
I tried experimenting with all of these flags.
PCIRootUID=0 or PCIRootUID=1
GraphicsEnabler=No or GraphicsEnabler=Yes
DSDT=No -x -f -v
All of these flags gave me the apple logo with spinning gear except the following:
-x mode works (but its limited because its safe mode)
"GraphicsEnabler=Yes" worked! but the screen is fuzzy and jittery. I can barely see a thing:
Then I tried logged into -v mode and got this error:
I have my BIOS set to the recommended settings with iGPU selected. I tried changing the memory of the iGPU from auto to 96MB to 192MB. I do not have a another graphics card, I plan on using the onboard intel HD 4000
I'm stuck and have no idea what to do
I know it has to be graphics related. Please help!
