This bodes well for X299 support in macOS early next year.

How do you know they're using that platform, and not something like Broadwell-EP? 8, 10 and 18 cores, huh. The 10 is odd; they're not spaced out evenly.

Two things:
1. You will be able to build Kaby Lake hackintoshes since High Sierra will have native support for them since the new iMacs will ship with them.
2. Apple said that building a comparable PC to the iMac Pro would cost you 7 grand without the display.

Actually, High Sierra public beta is to be released later this month. It's already launching for developers, this is nice especially for RX and Vega support.

RX cards are supported in Sierra as well. The new MBPs are built on Polaris. RX480s are working really well with Sierra.

This bodes well for not only Hackintoshes, but the new Mac Pros also.

And still no neat and seamless dual monitor solution :banghead:

What we know so far after this keynote, that there's not gonna be more Mac Pro's. I think iMac Pro is sort of a replacement for that.

Naw. They bring out a new Mac Pro in 2018 as they said they would. The iMac Pro is a "hurry up to stop the complaining."
