Hi everybody I just built a hackintosh and I couldn't be more happy. So now I have to sell my old computer. I had the iMac 21.5 i3 mid 2010. Still don't know what a good price is to sell it for but anyways I upgraded the memory 1 stick DDR3 4 gigs and I would hate to give it away with my iMac. My dad has the late 2009 27" i7 so I was wondering if my memory would be compatible with that .

Thanks. -Adkap2 :D

Thanks for the help :) Its too bad that they're not compatible tho :|

ya but I thought with apples there are more things that had to be compatible

actually my dads imac is 1067 mhz dd3 while mine is 1333 mhz ddr3 so im thinking incompatible

The MHz is fine, just it won't run in dual channel.

ok i will install the memory whats the worst that could go wrong :D

also he has 8 gigs 4x2 so if i took out a 2 and added a 4 then 10 would work right?
