Apple Magic Trackpad 2 Lagging Issue on Bluetooth

I think this is software related. I experience the same issue with a genuine MBP and the Magic Trackpad 2. If I power cycle it, it gets fixed for a while and then starts lagging again. The onboard trackpad is still flawless (but unfeasible to use as it is docked high along my displays). I'm yet to try it with the lightning cable connected as it is unreachable on my setup.

It is sad MacOS has been buggy in recent years. I could care less about any aesthetic development, I just wish they could focus on get things working right.
