I think it is a safe bet that graphics cards will continue to support Display Port for quite some time, and if not then an adapter will be created to attach to the Mini DisplayPort on the ACD. Thunderbolt is barely on the scene yet, so DisplayPort is still (and should continue to be) a well supported standard for the foreseeable future.

I am ready to go to the Apple dealer to buy my ACD. If I were only able to get the cables!
