Apple branded bluetooth module in USB hub - Solved Sleep

Any idea why it's not showing up on my rMBP?
I'm using a bluetooth module from an A1181 Macbook C2D.
The bluetooth module says A1114, and is recognized as plugged in in bootcamp, but as an unrecognized device. OS X shows no hint of it.

thanks for everything..get the A1114 in ebay..swap the yellow and the green wire..solder to USB + AC hub..work perfect..sleep and wake..best bluetooth device ..

Did anybody get this module working in Windows 7 64Bit? I'm at a loss

Did you install the driver for the BT module? It won't install automatically, but you can get it from inside a copy of BootCamp.

In case anyone is still thinking about doing this mod, mine stopped working reliably after I upgraded to Mavericks. I would either drop my track pad connection or the keyboard would not work. After switching to the recommended iogear dongle things are working fine.
