I just realized that Mac OS X doesn't have software RAID 5, which I had been planning to use. That means I need to use a hardware RAID card. The 3620 seems like a good choice, but I don't see any references to this card here, and the buyer's guide doesn't mention it.
I'm very close to pulling the trigger on my hardware purchases, which are below.
