Anyone else has only x12 and x26 speedsteps for cpu freq

XCPM is a lot less picky about a correct configuration than is AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext... I think it may ignore SSDT as far as pstates are concerned. Real Ivy Macs don't use it, but it is nice that it is there...

I have updated my original post. It seems that my system started to have issue with booting, so I have disabled it.

On the second thought, after I enabled it initially everything was fine. Then I regen SSDT with latest PBI CE and my 4440 could not reboot for ~ 3 times, finally it booted and I have disabled -xcpm flag and enable KernelPm. Now it boots fine, but of course CPU state are back to 12, 22, 24. Oh, well. I think I could live with it, for now.

I don't know about your specific issue, but one would assume there is a reason Apple doesn't use it on their own computers with Ivy...
