System Specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7
CPU: i7 8700k
Ram: 16gb DDR4 @3000
GPU: Asus AMD RX 580
Clover 4444
macOS 10.13.4
So I don't know if this issue is hackintosh related or Mac in general related? But I tried to convert a 3Gb .mov to .mp4 today using Adobe Media Encoder and on both GPU accelerated APIs Metal and OpenCl my system would completely freeze and hang. If I used just software Encoding on the CPU it seems to be just fine. Is this a known issue? Also I will try later when I have more time, but I have Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects will they all hang on GPU encoding? I am okay using software I have a 12 core CPU, just wondering.
Thanks in advance!
