ALC1150 not working, how to fix?

Is there any patch, or script what makes ALC1150 to work properly?

In El Capitan, I used the "audio_CloverALC" from Toleda. https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC

(For Now?) It's not compatible with Sierra so the only way I can get sound is from VoodooHDA with this package http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/517-voodoohda-288pkg/

@danama - Hi, thanks for the VoodooHDA link - I've just tested it on my PC, and it's got ALC1150 working in Sierra

It also looks like it does this without the need for edits in your Clover config.plist (like audio_CloverALC), and just the VoodooHDA kext is needed.

Do you know if there's any disadvantages to using this over CloverALC from Toleda (which I was also previously using)?

I used the same config.plist and copied the AppleHDA.kext from 10.11 and all audio is there : ALC1150 + HDMI audio.

I successfully used MultiBeast v8.2.3, choosing the ALC1150 and 100 Series Audio.

How do you set VoodooHDA up? I have the app in /Applications now but it won't launch because of my macOS version.

The command linked by toldea is currently just counting up directories and saying they don't exist. Is this normal behaviour?
