After upgrading to Ventura, there is a freeze when playing videos in safari

When I use safari to play a youtube video, the video screen will freeze every 5 seconds or so, but the sound will continue to play. After a few seconds of freezing, the video will continue to play normally, but it will freeze again after a few seconds. When there is a freeze, the entire browser window will die.

I have tested that there is no problem in chrome, and I can do without safari, but some instant messaging apps will use the window of safari when opening links, and if it contains videos, it will be very stuck, which is very inconvenient.

The above situation has never happened in Monterey.

All kexts are up to date.
OC version: 0.8.6
OS: Ventura 13.0.1
Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z370
CPU: 8700K
GPU: RX580 8G
Memory: 32G

I have similiar system and having the same issue, also when browsing on Edge

Also on an Asus z370 and had this exact same issue only in Safari with YouTube.

For me it traced back to having the Wipr Ad-Blocker extensions enabled in Safari preferences.

I had this same issue on install of 13.6.1. Video pauses every few seconds. This was for YouTube, FaceTime camera / continuity camera using my iPhone 14 and also videos in my Photos Library. I updated to OCC 0.9.5 using HackenDrom 2.1.8 and OCC 2.74.1.0 and voila, fixed the video issues on reboot.

Update.... issue is back again...Safari, Youtube, Quicktime... pretty much everywhere. Anyone find a solution?
