7950 dual x and 10.10.5 Clover 7mb vram

Hi ,

I'm using a sapphire 7950 dual x on a z77-d3sh with i7 3770 .
With my 650 ti boost works oob but with sapphire 7950 dual x with 2 dvi ports it shows me 7mb vram and no acceleration.
I've tried all combinations of fake ids and clover settings and smbios but no luck.
In other combinations i get 5mb vram.
With Patch vbios i can make mi second display work too but shows 3mb vram.
In sys info / graph shows allways devie id as it should 0x679a.
Can someone help me? Please.

In config.plist Graphics section try setting Inject ATI = false and boot. If the 7950 is supported natively it should boot OK and work with acceleration.

If it does not work correctly, try setting Inject ATI = true and boot. Report results.

With inject ati = true i got the full name of the card but same 7mb vram

And with this config 3mb but my second monitor is mirroring.If i inject Ati here i got same results but with the name of the card but still 1024 x 768 and no acceleration

also ati 7000 controller.kext doesn't load only amdsupport and radeonx4000

Yes, but no luck.I quess it's from 10.10.5 since i find that 10.10.3 + have problems.
I will test on a fresh install both el cap 10.11.3 and 10.10.1 last know version that worked with this card
oob.


Update: I've installed fresh 10.10 and now i can't even boot , i think the reason it booted in my other install is beacause i've replaced amd7000 and amdradeonx4000 with some i found on the net(saddly forgot the link adress) anyway i'm back on stock now, and can't boot on neither of them.So it must be kext related,since it's ignoring my clover injection.I can't boot in any of the modes -s -f .

I will try el cap later maybe i have luck with that one.
