4540S LCD Screen (1080p replacement)

I've reseated the cable many times and get the same result as the non dual link original cable (as expected).
Does anyone have a good known US source for this cable?

Id say either your LVDS cable or Auo V4 screen is bad.
 
Does anyone know where I can find a B156HW01 V.4, B156HW01 V.7 or B156HTN01.1 in the United States that is in stock? Someone gave me a HP ProBook 4540s and I'm looking to do an upgrade to a 1080p resolution. I checked eBay, Amazon and LaptopScreen and I can't seem to find the part. I can only find compatible screens and not the originals. I rather not buy from outside of the USA but if the price is reasonable I will consider it. Thank you.

I had to order it directly from the wholesalers here in the uk. But your best bet is eBay might be tricky finding the V4 they're hard to come by.

Which wholesalers in the UK did you use? Do they ship to the US?
I checked eBay and the only originals I find are used.

I would prefer the B156HTN01.1 since the model is newer, it is cheaper than the other one, and it is closer to where I live which is on the east coast. The seller also offers expedited shipping which is not a big deal but I do not want the screen in the heat for to long.

I see the 50.4RY03.001 cable is found on eBay in the US for $14.99 from several sellers but I want to make sure it is genuine.

The Auo V4 they sent me is a Sharp panel.
 
I found the original B156HTN01.1 (matte) which is pretty close to the B156HW01 V.4 according to panelook.com. I contacted laptopscreen.com through chat and they said that their inventory for the B156HTN01.1 (matte) is all original. I plan on purchasing this screen. I'll report back with pictures.
