4530s laptop won't boot. Please help......

Still won't boot. Made a trip to the internet cafe with laptop with hdmi cable and the monitor still thinks nothing is connected to it. Looks like i may have to do a clean install... Any other ideas ?

Is there a osx alternative to cpu-z ?

DPCIManager. But since you can't boot, I don't see how that helps.

Ok thanks rehabman.... We gave it a good shot. I will go down the clean install route. I think i have a cloned copy of my drive some where from a year ago that may help me get her up and running quickly . I appreciate everything you have been doing to help me with this.
