Hello there, this is a quick and simple question i have.

Currently i have a PC running windows XP with only one ssd drive.

I currently bought a new SSD drive and i'm planning on installing Yosemite, but i'm not sure if i should install it as a partition of the old Harddrive or if i should use each harddrive for each OS.

Recommendations?

Thanks!

Suggest you upgrade to at least Win7 if you want to dual boot with OS X. While it was possible to dual boot 10.6 Snow Leopard with WinXP IF you installed the boot loader and /Extra folder to the WinXP drive, but I am not certain you can do this with any later version of OS X. Especially you cannot if you use Clover as your boot loader to get iMessage to work.

Thanks for your prompt answer!

So if i install Win 7, what other instructions should i follow in order to be able to use both OS's?

Thanks!
