1gb vs 2 gb

Two weeks ago, I bought the EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti SuperClocked 1GB GDDR5 and it is reporting 1536Mb and not 1024Mb as it should.

I paid $99, and there is a $20 MIR, so $80 in the end.

I don't know if you want to buy a card that is not 100% OOB...

2GB refers to Onboard Memory
Superclocked refers to Over Clocked clock speed of GPU and Onboard Memory, mine is 981MHz (GPU) and 1962MHz (RAM).
Regular refers to non-OverClocked

I also own a Gigabyte Radeon HD 6850 1GB and that is 100% OOB and typically 25% to 40% faster than GTX550i, depending on application

The only reason I bought GTX is because of price and now I regret buying.

Stick with the 6850, zero aggravation and much better performance for about same price
