10.8.2 install-->scrambled screen

Hi everyone,

I've tried to install directly the 10.8.2 Package from the App store and at the first glimpse everything went smooth, but after the first restart the screen gets scrambled at the login window. It is really strange I can log in if I type in my password but the whole desktop is scrambled and I can't see a thing.

Though I was able to boot correctly (but very slowly) with GraphicsEnabler=No, it is not the desired outcome and it has nothing to to with the AppleACPIPlatform.kext.

Does anybody know what is happening here?

I had the same issuse. You need to disable an option in your bios.

Disable No-excute Memory Protection

I'm sorry, I can't find the "Disable No-excute Memory Protection" parameter.
The best fitting parameter is Named "Execute Disable Bit" but my system won't start at all if I disable that.

Can anyone help me to find this parameter?

after a long while of searching I found that my bios settings are correct but I had to follow the
"10.8 how to enable hd4000" guidlline
