Hey, sorry for the delay, I couldn't log in the last time I went here and totally forgot to come back. I attached my Config.plist here, hope this helps!
I just edited the SMUUID and Serial number, just use yours (or generate a new one via Clover Configurator).
As I said earlier I switched to the Vanilla Guide, so i have no Tonymacx86 solution. The switch was a bit harder first but there’s a bigger community on ****** and the Discord channel and had more help there. In the end it gives you higher control and less clutter than the Tonymacx install. If...
Wow!
Thanks a lot man! But as I wasn't seeing much help around here I decided to use the Vanilla guide from ****** and I managed to make a fresh HFS+ install on a new SDD and everything is working fine now.
Thanks again!
Thanks again, I edited my BIOS to match your suggestions and attached screenshots.
I noticed the menus slightly changed and the boot options reduced to 5. In the Clover graphics settings, nothing is selected by default. So I tried the default settings, with WEB drivers selected and both WEB and...
Had no problem to create a Unibeast USB following the High Sierra guide but I’m unable to boot from it.
I loaded the Optimized Defaults settings in the BIOS, didn’t saw any CFG-Lock option and VT-d is greyed out so I guess my system doesn’t have those. OS type set to Other OS, Secure Boot Mode...
Thanks for the help. As you weren’t responding yesterday, I got impatient and tried to install High Sierra on my new SSD, thinking it’d be easier and that I might be able to get back some files from the corrupted one. I used the Vanilla Guide from ******...
Okay so I disabled all boot options only to let the UEFI OS Sandisk on first option and on reboot had a few less boot options (1 or 2 I think) on Clover menu. I didn’t included the graphics injector as nothing was checked. I feel like the verbose isn’t much help but here are some screenshots ...
Note that I also asked for help on ****** yesterday and since I can’t boot in Single User + Safe modes someone told me that my only option was to make a new install. So I bought a new SSD this morning (with hope I could get back my iTunes library.xml of the corrupted SSD) and I’m actually...
Thank you for helping!
I attached screenshots below and as they’re quite bad we can’t see the selected options most of the time, so here are the checked ones:
Binaries patching :
- Kernel PM
- Apple Intel CPUPM Patch
- Apple RTC Patch
CPU Tuning :
- Enable C6
PCI Devices :
- USB Ownership...
Totally forgot about Single User mode, so tried that and vulgo’s suggestions but guess it’s still not the right place to write that.
Anyway, here’s a screenshot :
Anyone for some help ? Just a link to a similar problem maybe ? It seems I can’t find any with APFS involved, guess i’m dumber than what I thought, lol.
I also can’t find how to boot from my bootable USB, or any way that would give me the possibility to get rid of that TRIM problem. All I see...
Thanks for your help but I'm confused about how I can get a "normal session" as I'm unable to boot on my installed macOS drive. Any suggestion on how to achieve that ?
Anyway I tried your command suggestion in Recovery mode but obviously get the same "command not found" returned.
Thanks !
Thank you for the suggestion, I'm trying to understand what I can do with that.
Also, nobody responded to my topic since my build stopped booting Sunday, would you mind telling me what's wrong with it ...
If the deleted entries from the Clover BIOS are still present after reboot in the BIOS, how do we remove them here ?
I successfully deleted the non-HD entries following the mentioned steps but deleted ones are still present on reboot and doing it twice didn't changed anything.
I don't see any...
I tried following this guide as one particular line ("will install and seem to work fine, but then degenerate to an unusable state.") seemed to be like my problem :
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-remove-extra-clover-bios-boot-entries-prevent-further-problems.175274/
Managed to get...
What I don’t get is why this trim problem is just coming now, it used to work fine for weeks.
I guess I will have to make a fresh hfs+j install, bummer.
