so I don't really have that issue, however, mine sleeps ok, but does not wake up

ok, after the hang, i had to do a manual reboot then I copied the installer from the combo dmg to the desktop and tried again. it worked in 3 mins + reboot + repair permissions etc etc.

ran the following guessing that kextd is looking to cache all boot volumes. i didn't want to format the drive (lots of data) and just wanted to get the system off to free up the last tid bits of space for storage. My hunch is that once the system doesn't see my second drive as a valid boot...
sudo update_dyld_shared_cache -force
repair permissions / ensure your permissions are correct /you might even remove .acl files in your library
then reboot
this was happening constantly, updating the dyld cache seemed to make these crashes less frequent. I still get them, but far less...

when I first installed 10.9 on my fusion drive, i CCC'd a copy to a second hard drive.
later I repurposed the second hard drive into a data store and removed mavericks from this disk (did not reformat, just deleted...
ensure ehci and xhci are both enabled in the bios on your Mobo.
that solved a similar issue for me on a z87x-d3h... not the same board but those settings make a difference for usb functionality. at the minimum it is something to try.
1. make sure you have this in the /extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist

2. install the appleintele1000 kext from the mavericks multi beast
3. Repair your permissions
$ diskutil repairpermissions /
3a.
IF you don't want to do a full repair then...
