    macOS Native CPU/IGPU Power Management

But why does the Intel Gadget only show 2 or 3 different frequencies? It only bounces between 1300 and 4100, nothing in between... I wrote that because they show two different things, AppleIntelInfo says that it's working and Intel Gadget shows only a couple of frequencies in the log (attached...

    macOS Native CPU/IGPU Power Management

Oh okay thanks...did you by any chance look at my reporting files? If yes, do you think my Power Management is working? Because I don't know if I should trust AppleIntelInfo or Intel Power Gadget.

    macOS Native CPU/IGPU Power Management

I tried putting PluginType=true in my config, so normally it should work. However, while AppleIntelInfo shows every Step and Intel Power Gadget shows what seems to be functioning Power Management, if I look into a log from the Intel Power Gadget, it only shows a couple of frequencies, i think...

    macOS Native CPU/IGPU Power Management

I have a i5 8600k and a Asus z370-f motherboard...in the supported CPU list it says "Coffee Lake/UHD630+ (Core i3/5/i7 8xxx, 8th Generation; 300 Series, except Z370, motherboards)". Does that mean that Power Management doesn't work for me, no matter what I try? Also in the table with the...

    i5 8600k PowerManagement

I tried everything...the Powermanagement should be working, but I still doubt it because of what Intel Power Gadget shows me :/

    i5 8600k PowerManagement

Nope, no NullCPUPowerManagement installed...but it's also weird that Intel Power Gadget and AppleIntelInfo show that it's working, but in HWMonitor it only uses those 3 steps

    i5 8600k PowerManagement

Hello guys, as you can see in my signature i have a z370-f from asus and a i5 8600k. To enable Powermanagement, i put Plugintype=true in clover and tested it with Appleintelinfo.kext and it seems like it's working: CPU Ratio Info: ------------------------------------------ Base Clock...

    Fan doesn't spin after Boot

I think you don't understand what i mean :D A fan can have a 3 or 4 pin header: if it has 4 pins, the 4th is for the PWN mode control. If it only has 3, it doesn't support PWN mode and will run at full speed all the time if you choose that option. Now all my Chassis fans are corsair 3 pin...

    Fan doesn't spin after Boot

Unfortunately there isn't such an option, I can only decide between DC and PWN modes. DC mode is the normal option I should use because the Fan has only 3 pins, but in that mode it stays off while booted in Mac OS, while in PWN mode it works but always at max speed without control.

    Fan doesn't spin after Boot

Ok, I found out that it doesn't spin because it's in DC mode in the BIOS and apparently it doesn't support that. But if I put it in PWN mode, it spins full throttle all the time because it's only a 3 pin Fan, not 4 pin...any solution to this?

    Fan doesn't spin after Boot

Hello guys, I recently managed to install High Sierra successfully (not Mojave because of missing Nvidia Web drivers) and now noticed, that my Fan in the back of the case connected to the CHA_FAN2 header on the board. Pls help :D (I'm kind of a noob in hackintoshing) Thanks in advance
