yes, it was the AppleIntelFramebufferAzul patch that I removed from the config.plist in Minihack's NUC Essentials. FWIW, I also used the combo update, updated Clover to 3193, and updated my bios to 0037 at the same time.

I ran into the same issue when trying to update my Clover config while running in Safe Mode. After removing AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext in Safe Mode, reboot the machine so that it's no longer running in Safe Mode. You can then put AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext back in place with Kext Utility...

@tr43 you should have any issues updating to 10.10.2 from the app store. you may need to re-apply any kexts you're using (like audio) afterwards. i updated my nuc w/o issues.
