I had to change the wifi and everything now working perfectly on 10.14.2. Only problem I encounter was audio not working and I checked my S/L/E and found some old kexts for sound that were there from my Maverick install that were causing the problem, LOL! I haven't done a clean install since...
The update went ok and everything worked except my wifi - seems there is no longer support for my old wifi card. I reverted back and will try again when my new card comes in. Mojave boots a heck of lot faster than high sierra using apfs on my setup.
I got a new Gigabyte X150M-PRO motherboard to replace the defective one and I am leaving the bios at F1. It works perfect! It sleeps/wakes as expected, all the USB ports working correctly plus using a nvme m.2 is pretty sweet as well!

I appreciate the response! I tried all your suggestions plus tried a bunch of new ones and still not working. I am going to RMA the board and hopefully they will send me a new one with the F1 bios.
Crayonchin, I unfortunately updated my bios to F21 and now my motherboard will not boot up at all. It was working perfectly and then the update now it shows the apple logo for about 5 second then reboots. I don't even get any errors on screen or log. I've tried ever trick I know as well as...
Wow, I pulled my old ga-b75m-d3h which is about 5 years old and my clover mac model was set to iMac 13,2. I pulled the board and installed the GA-X150M-PRO ECC with two 8gb ECC and a Xeon E3-1230 v5. I also used my old nvidia gt640 video card. I fired the unit up with the old settings and it...
Hmmm, not sure what to tell you. I got the same motherboard (actually 2 of them) and both work fine, one uses the internal graphics and the other uses a nvidia gt-610. So if you boot the USB installer and then select the Sierra Hard Disk from the menu does it error as well?
Did you disable the internal graphics device in the bios (if you have a cpu that has that)? You can checkout the ga-b75m-d3h golden builds for more info.
Thewer, what did you setup in clover to install the gtx-670? I get a panic on my setup when install the same video card. My smbios is set has mac mini server 6,2 - did you use a different profile? Curious how you got it working. BTW, everything else works perfectly on my hack including the USB...
Nice tip but on #2 instead of creating the folder and the mounting you can just do this
sudo diskutill mount /dev/disk0s3
and it pops up on your desktop and removes itself when ejecting.
I upgraded to 10.11.1 reran the patch but still no luck. I just set computer sleep to never and will try to find another work around. Fortunately, it is now getting cold here so I don't mind a little house warming. :-)
Btw, without the patch, the video in 1920x1080 mode and the computer sleeps...
This works on my HD4000 and LG Ultra monitor (2560x1080) but if the system goes to sleep upon waking the screen is only 1/4 of the original width and shifted. Anyone else have this problems?
The z77ma-g45 usb3 ports work if you disable legacy usb in the bios. If it is enabled and you plug in a usb3 device it will lock up the computer. Outside of that it is an awesome motherboard. I have mine overclocked and it rocks!
