So, I'm confused... I have the Rosewill RNX-N180UBE WI-FI adapter and I need a driver or something because wifi doesn't show up in network prefs.
How can I download and install a driver because they are for PC and obviously mine is a Hack?

nobodynose, i also have the 521 but it won't work for me. The only thing I can think of is the first time i plugged it into the 3.0 usb port. Now it is in 2.0 but still won't work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, where to begin. I have IOGEAR GBU521 BT adapter and it is recommended in buyer's guide. But, when I plug it in, nothing happens. Do I need to install a driver or kext or something? I can't find any threads to guide me.
Thanks for your help!
eaughenbaugh if you're getting this error

Good luck!
Hey,
I am in the process of trying to get my hack to boot. After running MultiBeast, when I try to boot it reads something like
Boot0: GPT
Boot0: test
Boot0: test
Boot0: error
Boot0: GPT
Boot0: test
Boot0: test
Boot0: error
So I started playing with the BIOS config settings. I changed things...
I found the answer for me was to gain a new IP. See here for details: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-desktop-support/104934-cant-download-unibeast-multibeast-etc.html#post640212
[SOLVED]Can't Download UniBeast MultiBeast etc.
For anyone looking for a similar answer, I've found it. I have successfully been able to download in either Chrome or Safari. Also, I did not have to disable my extensions in Chrome ( i can't speak for download accelerators). The key was that my...
Hey there,
I'm in a pickle. I've got a functional, built computer but can't unleash its Hackintosh potential because I can't get the downloads of UniBeast and MultiBeast to initiate. When I click download, it gives me this message:
"Slow Down! You are trying to download files too quickly. You...
Great, thanks for your response nobodynose. I'm still concerned though, because I've been reading reviews on Newegg and many of the mobos in the Gigabyte line have negative reviews. It seems that Gigabyte is a very cheaply-made board.
Is there a preferred option that would be comparable in...
Hello,
I'm starting to doubt my previously selected mobo: the Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H. I'll have a Intel i7 3770k CPU and a ASUS GeForce GTX 660 video card. I'm planning on doing the following with my machine at some point in the future.
1. Overclock
2. Run multiple GPU's
3. Run triple display
4...
Well, I want to save money initially. Prices for SSD will only go down so I figure buy less expensive HDD and then later switch boot to SSD. Is this possible?

Hey thanks Going Bald for the advice and confirmation! I will have to get a new sound card and thanks for the link to the ODD. I might gamble with the network adapter. As for the multiple GPU, I've read that OSX isn't compatible with multiple GPUs. Is it possible to have multiple GPUs? If so, I...
Hey Guys,
I've constructed this list of parts that I believe are compatible and will serve my needs. (below)
I'm a first-time Hackintosh builder and I'd like some input from you seasoned veterans and those who have actually used these part combinations. I really don't want to spend lots of...
