Because I would like to install Mac OS X onto a hyper duo volume (hyper duo is like a hardware fusion drive) on the SATA/RAID card I bought, I cannot pull out a hard drive, put it into a usb internal hdd docking station, perform the install on that, put the hdd back in the chasis and wire it...
Awesome, thanks for the info and feedback! Nice to see that the onboard SATA connectors are working. But I bought a SATA 3 PCI-E card which gives me better speeds than the onboard connections. It is supposed to work with 10.8 but I want to install 10.11. Ill follow what Matte82 did but I'm not...
No i have not managed to fix the issue. It seams as if the AHCI chip on the pci controller I bought does not support El captain. I haven't played around with it much but if you get somewhere let me know. I would really like to get this beastly machine running os x.
Ok so I bought a RAID SATA III card from newegg which came in yesterday. It has the Marvell 88SE9230 chip on it. I'm having the same issue as before. No hard drives showing up in disk utility. Would I need to create a logical volume on the card before trying to install os x to make it detect the...
I think it is also worth mentioning that this computer runs on the Intel 5520 chipset. Would creating a RAID volume fix my issue of the detection? Are there any kexts that I could try to fix this?
Hi I just got my hands on a Dell Precision T5500 machine. I created an installer with clover. For some reason none of my HDDs and SSDs have not been showing up in Disk Utility. People have reported that this is a common issue with this machine and it has to do with the AHCI not loading/or not...
I fixed all of my problems by using clover and injecting the nvidia driver. I have a fully working Hackintosh now! :):headbang:

Also note that my motherboard doesn't have any integrated graphics, which is why I need to use my graphics card. My GPU also has 2GB of VRAM.
I'm still not giving up! :headbang:
Once again, any help from anyone is greatly appreciated.

So I decided to re install the OS and here is now my org.chameleon.Boot file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

I managed to get 1080p back by replacing the org.chameleon.Boot.plist and smbios.plist back to the original ones with a few modifications. The reason why I managed to boot the first time with PCIRootUID=1 and -f is because of the -f then u told me to add PCIRootUID=1 to the...
