PRO TOOLS 10 takes long time to lunch

Hmm, k .. The easiest way to get an en0 adapter, is by creating a real interface. A virtual interface would be a terminal horror, not to mention explaining it. Step 1 Start MultiBeast Lion edition and select for the install "Drivers & Bootloaders > Kext & Enablers > Network > Lnx2Mac's...

PRO TOOLS 10 takes long time to lunch

Lo, That's a very common problem with PT9 and 10. What build version of PT10? Do you have a working network card in the hack? Onboard etc? No en0 problem: Open a terminal and type ifconfig en0 If you get the message ifconfig: interface en0 does not exist Then that's your problem, if not...

    Cannot Boot after Multibeast Install

On the other hand, you are probably booting with an smbios.plist of a MP4,1 or 5,1. These are known to invoke the AppleTyMCE kext. You could also just use the MP3,1 smbios.plist. Cheers

    [KernelPanic] P8P67

P8P67 are the easiest of boards around here to install to. I have 6 different version laying around here and they all install without problems. If you mean, "not anymore possible", means you were able to enter the install screen before?

    Cannot Boot after Multibeast Install

Get access to the disk, either by USB to SATA or some other method, like single user mode. Navigate to the S/L/E directory, backup the AppleTyMCEDriver to a different location and then remove it from the S/L/E directory, try to reboot again.

    Still waiting for root device

Did you try npci=0x2000 ? Can also be 0x1000 or 0x3000. But widely used is 0x2000 ;)

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

I've stopped arguing about the finer details between getting OSX running or fully "working". So let's get this thread not far off topic shall we :P Cheers

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

@Jazz Jay No this is only for fine tuning the hackintosh, nothing to do with KP's. If you have 10.6 installed, install 10.6.7 according to the guides here on this forum, else start a new Topic if your problem is specific. Cheers

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

It doesn't specifically say if the P8P67 Pro is for the revision 3.0 or 3.1. I guess this rom is for the 3.0? fyi, I own the 3.1 version ;)

GA-X58A-UD3R Rev.2, QUADRO 2000 alway freeze on apple logo

Re: i7 950, ASUS SABERTOOTH X58, QUADRO 2000 Confirm! Hi, Gratz on the setup ;) Just have a few questions, if at all I read this correctly. Do you have Cuda working under, for example After Effects? Do you see an improvement in rendering effects? Are there any side effects, like freezes...

    [Success!] Gigabyte Z68-D3-B3 Sandy Bridge + i7 2600

Hi, Gratz with the setup ;) Was wondering which Quadro drivers you installed, the 256.x version or the Cuda 4.x And .. are you able to process the card with Cuda or only OpenGL? I'm building a hackingtosh for someone who uses After Effects a lot, and Cuda gives some huge performance advantage...

Toshiba A660-11M successful install: upd. 12 jan 2011

Forget the idea for these Toshiba series (and most of the other newer Toshiba's as well) to used as a hackingtosh. The CPU problem can't be fixed through DSDT, there is more that needs to be fixed. Only solution to fix the CPU problem (all cores/threads working) is with a patched kernel, and to...

Toshiba A660-11M successful install: upd. 12 jan 2011

The toshiba laptop where this thread is about has a 330M, not a 310M. I don't think that there is any Mac with 310M graphics, you can try the 320M specs though. Find your display EDID and NVRAM of your card, and use the DSDT card injection method, I believe I've seen someone getting it to work...

Toshiba A660-11M successful install: upd. 12 jan 2011

Hi Chronoz, The toshiba's are really a no go, these laptops are just one big pile of **** .. seriously .. You have to modify iBoot bootdisk, remove all none-kexts, I did some explaining in some posts about how to create your own boot-disk, search my posts for it. I believe your busratio is not...

Toshiba A660-11M successful install: upd. 12 jan 2011

Hi, I stopped working on laptop hacks, too much stuff (on "almost" all laptops) just don't work, and one of those would be the battery. I've attached the kexts and DSDT.aml, good luck with it ;) Just some side notes KEXSTS: Only has Ethernet/Audio kext, don't know if they work for your...

What driver could be used for the nVidia 310M notebook card?

bdmesg is a chameleon utili, nothing OSX related. I believe it's in the latest RC5 release. Yea reinstall should work though, if you got it working once, you will get it working twice ;)

What driver could be used for the nVidia 310M notebook card?

Porcupine Tree, just searched for them on google ;) States for these devices have nothing to do with speedstepping, download the ACPI 4.0a manual online and searched for it, alot of the functions are explained what they do and why. It's just not always clear what the code inside should do. As...
