OMG!! Thank you so much for sharing this!:thumbup::thumbup:
This action indeed fixed the problem. I can't I believe I spent so much time uninstalling/reinstalling OS X so many times :banghead:
It's working like a charm and it is great :headbang::headbang::clap::clap:
Thank for you answer. I should have mentioned that I've done that too. It actually does the same thing as relaunching the finder, meaning it works again for a while and then the issue shows up again. It is a bit annoying
Maybe I should also add that I'm asked my username/password...
Hi everyone,
I'm creating a thread about a problem I'm having but I don't really know if it is because I'm using a hacktintosh or not.
The symptom is rather simple. When I try to access to a shared folder on a hackintosh from my laptop (visible under the shared section in the left column of...
You can give a try to the solution explained here (section Audio not working after sleep/wake):
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-desktop-support/173991-big-list-solutions-el-capitan-install-problems.html
Same here, sound is back after waking from sleep, but only once. After a second time to sleep, audio is not working like for mun35
EDIT: My bad. This solution does not fixi the problem and now my computer can't seem to be able to stay in the sleep mode (Vd-t is disabled) and all my...
I usually try the search feature of the forum before posting a file.
In this case, I did not find a post talking about my very case: IvyBridge HD 4000 on a desktop with El Capitan (or I don't know which other config can apply to mine).
But thanks!
Hi all!
I'm having a weird behavior with my GA-H77N-WIFI. It doesn't prevent the computer from working perfectly fine but I was wondering if other people encounter the same situation. When the operating system loads, the screen displays a disjointed Apple logo:
This started to happen with...
Just type the following command in the terminal to check the permission:
sudo /usr/libexec/repair_packages --verify --standard-pkgs --volume /
And the following command to repair:
sudo /usr/libexec/repair_packages --repair --standard-pkgs --volume /
Oh man, no! For some reason I assumed it was caused by Mavericks and my hacktintosh. I wish I had seen that before spending hours looking for a solution.
Anyways, now I'm using a nighty build, and that works.
Thanks man, you rock
Hello,
I have installed Mavericks (clean install) on my GA-H77N-WIFI and everything seems to work perfectly fine but XBMC. When I start XBMC, I can see the XBMC icon bouncing one time in the dock and then disappear. If I look at the XBM log file, it is said:
CApplication::Create: Failed to...
Hi all,
I would like to change the fan of my CPU (Intel Core i3 3225) because it is starting to make a lot of noise. I have found a fan less solution which sounds awesome to me...
Stupid question about hard-drives
Great, thanks for the answer.
So, if I understand correctly I want a hard drive with a default block sector of 512 bytes, is that correct?
Thanks
Hi there,
After starting a post called "Stupid question about the RAM", here is a post about the hard-drive needed to built a hackintosh. I've seen somewhere--can't remember where--that there is a block sector size constraint. The hackintosh should have a hard-drive with 4k block sectors? Is...
