Hmm, that is strange because mine was enabled in the BIOS and in energy saver preferences and it was able to sleep. I will need to investigate further.
Hmm, so the machine was able to sleep but I am unable to wake from lan. I am guessing this fix must have disabled that. I will need to test this by reverting the changes. I have already updated to 10.10.2 so hoping that resolves the sleep issue with wake on lan enabled.
That's great to hear. I wonder what they actually changed to fix this. On the support site they mention the following fixes:
"This update includes the following improvements:
Resolves an issue that might cause Wi-Fi to disconnect
Resolves an issue that might cause web pages to load slowly...
Was finally able to get everything working (minus iMessages..thanks Apple) with the new updated Clover and a couple tweaks. For details head on over to:

I finally got this fix by doing the mDNSresponder fix by following the instructions from:
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300072-wake-reason-rtc-alarm-how-to-deactivate/page-2
Here are the files posted from that thread that include instructions to fix this. My hack finally slept...
Hello again Baja-King. I was able to get everything working now but I was still having the wake from sleep issues every two hours with the error "Wake reason: RTC (Alarm)". I am using the factory BIOS of F14 so not sure if that had anything to do with it. I was able to fix this though with...
I was able to get the audio to be persistent with the attached script. Unzip the command and run it with the sudo command from the terminal and you should be good to go. This comes directly the Toleda Realtek GIT repo (https://github.com/toleda/audio_RealtekALC). Hope this helps.
Just to add to your install guide which worked like a champ now hopefully my machine will hibernate correctly(We will see tonight since it was waking up every two hours before). If you are like me and want a high resolution boot loader you can 1) add the "CsmVideoDxe-64.efi" file into the...
I have the same motherboard as well and am using OsxAptioFix2.efi with Clover v2999 but still having the sleep issue so am guessing it's something else. I am hesitant to upgrade the version of Clover since I have spent so much damn time messing with this and have a fully functional system...
This change helped my computer sleep but I also had to revert the changes since unfortunately a few really nice features rely on multicast including AirPlay, Wireless sync for iPhones/iPads and AppleTV to computer communications. If you don’t care about these then you are ok but would not...
That "fix" works but requires you do disable multicast which in turn will disabled features such as AirPlay, wireless iPhone sync, and computer shares to AppleTV. I wouldn't consider this a fix since you have to break other services. Still searching for a better resolution...
You could strip out the smbios section with a text editor. I wouldn't expect you to provide that since it would just get us both locked out ;)
From the little I have about learned about Clover and UEFI booting it looks like your default Clover install would be doing a legacy boot from /EFI...
Thanks for the response. I am running the latest non-beta F14 BIOS so I think I am good there. I have spent too much time on it at this point as well so will keep trying. I think if someone could post their config.plist and EFI folder from the EFI partition as well as the Clover installer...
Hi Jbez...On your last reply about config.plist you directed me to the GA-Z77X-UD5h folder with kexts for the config.plist file. Would it be possible you could provide a working version since that one is essentially blank? I have attached the .plist version I was able to get my usb drive booted...
