Ok, I loaded the BIOS optimized defaults and reconfigured everything. Now I can boot without XMP enabled. But still no proper OpenGL and still short freezes.

BTW, this is my memory: 16 GB DDR4 3000 MHz G Skill Intl F4-3000C16-16GISB

I have XMP II enabled in BIOS and in Clover set to detection. I tried to disabled it in BIOS and set to "no" in Clover, but then it crashes on boot. What is the ideal setting here?

Hi everyone, I got a Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming OC. I got it booting up so far and Metal/OpenCL seems to work. But I don't get OpenGL properly working. Cinebench R15 tests are just stuttering slow. Also Parallels Desktop is very slow in graphics. And there are sporadic short freezes...

Try the DSDT file from this post: #9 This worked for disabling my NVIDIA RTX 2080 without using WEG. Unfortunately this still does not help with ASPM, the NVIDIA card still draws 50 Watts of power! :(

No USB 3 device is working on my system under 10.13. Under 10.12 no problems at all. I tried the USBInjectAll.kext, but no luck... This is frustrating me :sick: Is there any easier way than creating an SSDT to get USB3 devices to work again?

I think I found the problem. If I connect the display via HDMI it does not work, but using MiniDisplayPort it works. :confused: ________ I just edited the SMBIOS machine ID from 17.x to 14.2 - and now it works.

Solution! - At least for me... :D Ok, my solution was quite simple. I just updated Clover from 4066 or so to the latest version, I think 4125. I also added the two extensions "Lilu.kext + IntelGraphicsFixup.kext" to /clover/kexts/other. RehabMan, thanks for your great work! :thumbup:

Allright. But was that a 10.12.5 issue as well? Because my NUC just worked fine with 10.12.5.

Is there a guide for Lilu.kext + IntelGraphicsFixup.kext? Never heard of that... :eek: Is that NUC specific?
