[Solved] Problem with 10.12.6 Update on My NUC6i3

Hey,

just updated my NUC6i3 to 10.12.6. Unfortunately it does not boot anymore. Attached are two screenshots. The first ist regular boot and the second is in safe mode. Any ideas what went wrong?

You probably forgot to install Lilu.kext + IntelGraphicsFixup.kext.

Never heard of that...

Use search or read update notes for 10.12.5 (where the requirement first showed).
Not really NUC specific (but specific to certain Skylake graphics).

Allright. But was that a 10.12.5 issue as well? Because my NUC just worked fine with 10.12.5.

Yes.

My NUC6 guide installs Lilu.kext + IntelGraphicsFixup.kext automatically.
The problems on my NUC6 computers (have two different ones) were not that it could not boot, but rather there were certain lags that happened while playing video in Safari.
No idea if you followed my guide though... (seems like not).

Solution! - At least for me...
Ok, my solution was quite simple. I just updated Clover from 4066 or so to the latest version, I think 4125. I also added the two extensions "Lilu.kext + IntelGraphicsFixup.kext" to /clover/kexts/other.
