Hi All
Ventura has been a real headache for me of all the OSes released by Apple and I fear they're only going to get more difficult!
I am using:
Asus Tuf Z370 Gaming Plus II
Intel 9600K
Vega 56
Opencore 0.9.4
Please find the attached EFI. This is kind of my last attempt at this. The final...
Remarkable advice.
I’m hoping it’s not the target drive. It’s a newish drive so it shouldn’t be a problem however, I used two different USB drives as installers and got the same results.
I think I will have to try installation again.
Although I reformatted the drive during installation, is...
This was a clean install.
The git hub command was used to download the software directly from Apple. However there is a second stage to build the installer once it has downloaded the file required.
I think I will have to try again with another clean installation when I can.
I think the...
I was previously using, Monterey and got the Volume Hash Mismatch error so in preparation of the latest OS I decided to do a clean install of Ventura.
Opencore working perfectly at this point with 100% functionality with the exception of the above.
When trying to install 13.0 and 13.0.1 I was...
As a ‘fix’, I have plugged my pump into the CPU PWM fan header. Gone into the UEFI setting and set it to DC - Turbo. I read you should always have you pump on DC?
So that has now removed the CPU fan warning when booting the system.
I have removed the PWM header completely that is supposed to...

Is there a chance that the connnected pins in the PWM connector in my original picture are just in the wrong sockets?
(Currently 1 and 4 as in the...
That’s exactly what I’ve done.
The only difference being the 5V and VDG cables not being plugged into anything.
But as you can see from my first post, the PWM motherboard connector only has pins on 1 and 4.
Is it possible that the other connectors that go to the motherboard plug in the hub...
Hey all
I bought the below cheap and cheerful RGB PWM fan kit:
Aerocool Duo 12 Pro
This kit is supposed to support PWM and the header should be plugged directly into the CPU fan header in the motherboard.
Done.
CPU Fan Error!
I checked the Monitor tab of my UEFI settings and the header...
I can confirm this has worked for me in Big Sur and I can now connect to the 5GHz frequency however, the download speeds are worse than on the 2.4GHz network.
:thumbdown
Are there any security protocol limits for this card? WPA etc.
I ask as I noticed noticed the security for my router is...
