Hello, in the past I have successfully created a usbports.kext for my system. I now have an extra PCI card usb 3 card which I'm also using and is working OOB. In Hackintool it shows as 'FL1100 USB 3.o Host Controller' and is a PXSX type. When it comes to creating a new usbports kext How am I...
Hi all, not sure if this is the correct forum, but here goes. I bought a samsung c49rg90 which has a maximum resolution of 5120x1440. However, my display options in system preferences only offer a maximum resolution of 3840x1080. I've looked at all the menu settings for the monitor, and am using...
Hi, I have a very similar setup to you. The only issue I have is with the Radeon VII HDMI audio. I use the HDMI audio from my monitor as my main sound device. Every now and then it cuts out and I have to reset core audio in order for it to return. Have you tried HDMI audio with the Radeon VII...

I installed applealc the other day (which gave me built in audio) and the hdmi audio dropouts persisted. When audio does drop out, I can put the computer to sleep and wake it up to fix the issue, but obviously that can get annoying.
I'm thinking of installing windows to see if there are any issues there. If so it would suggest a hardware problem. Seriously doubt it though, I'm getting good benchmark test results. Only performance issue is HDMI audio.
