Im wondering if my bootup is slower than it is supposed to be. First off, once I get to the apple boot screen, it takes about 6-8 spins of the loading wheel to get into OSX. Normal?
Also, im only getting 8400 on geekbench 32bit.
Thanks
Im having a problem on my hackintosh recently. When I put the computer to sleep,(because it will not sleep on its own) while trying to wake it, the screen looks like when a TV doesnt get reception. If I press the power button, everything goes back to OSX fine. What could this be?
Ive been trying to get the machine to sleep by itself with no luck. Ive turned off the push of my mail and also turned off Time Machine. I set the sleep for the monitor and machine for 1min each. After one minute the monitor turns off but the computer is still on. What could be the issue?
Ive tried to install the applehda rollback with my LegacyHDA ALC889 kext and my sound is acting up. When I try to play a song or video it says its playing but the status bar does not count up like it should and I do not get sound.
Thanks
Im having a problem where while booting, the grey screen with an apple logo doesnt fill the whole display, theres still black around it. The apple looks sharp just the white doesnt go all the way to the edge. I have a 24in monitor if that matters. My native resolution is 1920x1080x32@60

I currently have a working OSX install right now. I had a working install of Win7 on another drive before installing another 500GB drive for OSX. What would be the best way of going about dual booting this? When I try to boot into Win7 from the chameleon bootloader I get a missing MBR error.
Thanks
My parts will be arriving soon and just would like to clear something up. I would like my system to be as vanilla as possible. How do I know if my system will have the vanilla kernel?
I know there is guides out there that show some of the kexts needed for post-install. Im just making a folder right now on my flash drive that will have a list of all the necessary kexts needed to make the P55a-UD3 motherboard work.
