pastrychef, I got it to work! Thank you so much! I am planning on installing it tomorrow, as I need my pc for school today. All the credit goes to you. Thank you for everything you have done! It means a lot, and I'll let you know how the installation went.
Hi! I know this was a long time ago, but I desperately need help. I need a mac for school computer science, and the mac I have is too slow (and the school is not providing any, for they say I took the elective knowing I was ready for any challenges I faced). JO3Y, I have a MSI z390 Gaming Plus...
Hi! I have been trying to boot high sierra on my msi z390 motherboard, but I haven't had any success. I am using the efi files given to me by pastrychef, a user on this website. I am unable to boot verbose mode so I can't see where the error occurs, and when I boot normally, the screen such gets...
If this doesn't work, should I try downgrading my bios? I was doing a bit of research, and found that some people who installed mojave on a msi z390 Motherboard said it worked after that. Thank you!
Would this work better if I installed Sierra or Yosemite? I think nvidia is supported on them right? I thought high sierra supported nvidia, but I might be wrong. For me, the boot argument nv_disable=1 and and dart=0 are added.
The new efi file doesn't seem to be working either. It appears that I am unable to run verbose mode on newer versions of clover, which may be why I can't see the error here. Is there another way to fix this? Really sorry about this:(
I have whatevergreen in my kexts folder. Should I put it somewhere else? Really sorry about disturbing you again. I've attached my efi folder as well (Ignore the icon things in the folder, it happened when I was compressing it). Maybe that would make things clear? Thank you!
For some reason, verbose mode doesn't seem to be working for me. When I try to boot in verbose mode, it still boots like normal and I can't see the error. Should I copy your kext, config.plist and drivers folders, and use unibeast to inject nvidia?
For some reason, hackintosh still didn't boot. Could it be because I have an nvidia gpu? I can't boot verbose mode as well for some reason. Sorry about this.
Thank you! So I just replace my efi files with yours right? Do I need to change anything in the folder, as I have a MSI Motherboard, and you have a Gigabyte?
