My apologies, I misread. Thought it said 9900 I wasn't able to find a compatible motherboard with thunderbolt support. If you try to find one make sure it has a tb_header or it will not work.

Unfortunately I can not recommend upgrading to Mojave. Currently there are no Nvidia Web Drivers available. If you do, you'll have to use integrated graphics, AMD GPU, or a Nvidia Kepler card. High Sierra is your best bet if you upgrade, as of now with most Nvidia graphics.

I tried changing the _CRS method as you suggested to Razeriste, but still no luck.

Is this while still using the original patch from this guide?

Here is the most recent information on the trackpad for base model. Im not sure if this would work or even how to implement this, maybe you have more info on this. Return (ConcatenateResTemplate (I2CM (I2CX, BADR, SPED), SBFI))

VoodooI2CHID says it supports devices if the compatible property is PNP0C50 which my ELAN0406 device shows in ioreg. Maybe i'm wrong by this, but i'm desperate and need this trackpad to work :(

Tried both 2CLEAN & 2CHID with both patches, neither worked.

No luck. Tried the patch with your I2C & 2CLEAN Kext then with I2C & 2CHID, neither worked. I used the patch on a clean DSDT, not with the existing trackpad patch.

Yea even after a fresh dump of the DSDT and SSDT's; repatching a new DSDT did not solve my problem. Still stuck with only the battery patch properly working and no trackpad control at all. I've attached a new PR file. Thanks for taking the time to help me out with this, I really appreicate it.
