One USB Bus Not Working in ML

Answering my own thread: Deleting AppleHPET.kext is what solved it... that kext frequently causes issues with USB! http://blog.waldrondigital.com/2012/08/02/some-usb-ports-not-working-on-hackintosh-fixed

One USB Bus Not Working in ML

Just successfully upgraded my Core Quad Dell Precision 390 build to ML... everything works great except 3 of my USB ports (one bus) aren't showing up in the system report and aren't usable. Strangely all other ports work just fine and the dead ports worked fine in Lion. Any ideas? Many...

VoodooHDA Random Kernel Panic at Boot

No KPs since I enabled the Kext cache. Yay! One day later: I can attest to the fact that the kernel cache does fix the KP at boot up issue with VoodooHDA.

VoodooHDA Random Kernel Panic at Boot

Read somewhere that running the extension migration wizard in Multibeast may fix this. Using the kernel cache prevents VoodooHDA from panicking at startup, or so it's said: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=269281&pid=1758448&mode=threaded&start= ... as well as other places...

VoodooHDA Random Kernel Panic at Boot

Every so often I get the following kernel panic on boot using VoodooHDA. I'm on a Dell Precision 390 with Sigmatel STAC 9200 audio. VoodooHDA/audio works great, other than this random boot up KP issue. I've verified this across two different Precision 390 systems. Rebooting usually fixes it...

This Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account.

I upgraded to latest Chimera from tonymacx86 downloads page and it worked for me on a P5W DH lifehacker build. Once installed I got on iCloud no problem. I also read something elsewhere about reordering NICs to make it work as well (you need to have en0)...

I was just reading in the official upgrade forum that you need the latest Chimera or Chameleon.

    iCloud - The Official Thread

I get a "This Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account" on my P5W DH Lifehacker build when I try to logon through my Hack. I can logon to the iCloud website, Mac app store works and I can access iCloud on my legit Macs. Any ideas what this could be? Obviously something specific to my...

This Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account.

Same problem here on a P5W DH Lifehacker build. My Mac app store works and I can access iCloud on my legit Macs. I think this is something specific to Hackintosh systems. I read around that a serial or SMBIOS.plist hack may be needed. I'm sure Tony or the community will figure it out.
