Anyone own a Acer Aspire S3 (Ultrabook)?

So my girlfriends laptop was on the floor for some reason and I fell back and accidentally stepped on the headphone jack that was plugged into it. Don't ask me why it was on the floor, I have no idea. Long story short, I need to find a replacement audio jack (headphone/microphone combo jack)...

Do you like the mountain mods or Li Lan modular mobo tray for your G5?

Woah! Wish I would have known about this before I paid $70 for the MM tray! :s

How do you remove PowerMac G5 power button?

Oh, my mistake. I was thinking the aluminum prepared like it is in anodizing and then sprayed. This makes more sense now. Yeah I wouldn't attempt to powder coat it with the button on it.

How do you remove PowerMac G5 power button?

I'm not all that familiar with the methods of powder coating, but I assume is sort of like anodizing, yes? I don't see why taping off the button wouldn't be an option.

Do you like the mountain mods or Li Lan modular mobo tray for your G5?

I use the Mountain Mods try myself. And just so you know, shipping costs another $20 or so. I prefer the two fans over the one.

How do you remove PowerMac G5 power button?

The ONLY think I could find was this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e46tFQDoGBY&feature=player_embedded Doesn't seem to be that much help. Could you just put tape over the button? I think it would look odd with the silver button and a different color of the case, unless of course...

    G5 Front Panel Quick Guide

I've done this before, and it really isn't that hard as long as, for some reason, you tug too hard on one of the wires when you're sleeving it and the heat shrink/soldering you've done to the wire decides to break and then you're left with a difficult situation. Again, don't ask me how this...

Powermac G5 Mod with ATX Parts

+1 I always enjoy looking at G5 mods. Maybe because it gives me inspiration to finish mine, maybe because I just like to see what people come up with. Always something new to try.

    Testing Thread: GeForce GTX 660

That was the one I was looking at. My current card; 6870, sounds like a jet engine in OS X (not in Windows). So hopefully there will be a noticeable difference.

    Testing Thread: GeForce GTX 660

Anyone know which of the GTX 660's are the least noisy? I know that some have a 1 fan shielded cover, or open 2 fans. Just trying to make sure I get the right one.

Another Power Mac G5 Casemod (No cutting!)

I'm jealous, I never thought of using the old G5 board and just soldering it. Did you find the references online to do this, or do you know from prior knowledge?

Information about modding a Mac Pro case

Can I drive dual 27" monitors with my AMD 6870?

Those are REALLY cheap for 27" IPS monitors... Anyways, I don't see why not. Shouldn't be an issue with 2 mini DisplayPorts.
