Problem solved ! Looks like I just needed the latest Voodoo kext and the preferences pane to get it up and running. Thanks Toleda anyways.

Damn! 4-5 years is a long time. Don't get me wrong but I think you should switch over to a new PC. I would suggest getting an X99 chipset as nickwoodhams.com swear its stable and I'm using it. Oh and do get those Pascal graphics card if you can afford.

Do a fresh USB stick and a fresh install of MacOS. And always make a note of the settings that you change in BIOS. Happy hackintoshing !

Found out the hard way of searching. :ch: Peripherals > XHCI Mode > Auto <--- Smart Auto gives you problems with USB peripherals As mine is a 9 Series Chipset, i had to follow this procedure. Will try to reinstall High Sierra with this additional method and report.
