Dual monitor unavailable with 1050 Ti

Thanks VioletDragon. What's the easiest way to do that? Can you point me to the best method? (The first few options that come up in search aren't too intuitive.)

Dual monitor unavailable with 1050 Ti

Yep, I'm also stuck; bought the HDMI adapter, but still no luck—the monitor reports no signal for the second (HDMI) screen. My .plist is attached.

Dual monitor unavailable with 1050 Ti

Hi all, seems like there are a few threads about dual monitor issues with the 1050; starting a new one in case someone has this specific problem. I just installed the Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti and only one HDMI port works. Tried several SSUIDs (including 14,2), changed to PCE in BIOS, the changes...

[SOLVED] ThinkServer boots fine with USB, won't boot with Clover

ThinkServer boots fine with USB, won't boot with Clover Thanks again, P1LGRIM. I couldn't have done it without your help. Finally got it all working. For those who might read this later, use the P4600 settings from the link provided in P's post above. I used 14,1 as the machine type, which...

[SOLVED] ThinkServer boots fine with USB, won't boot with Clover

First, thanks to everyone who's contributed to this project. As someone who was around the OSx86 world in the early days, it's exciting to see how far things have come. I'm installing El Capitan on my new ThinkServer w/ Xeon E3-1225V3, 8GB RAM, Model 70A4001MUX It boots and installs just...

Messed with DSDT, now system won't boot

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried the booting with those instructions, but it still hung on the attached screen. I also tried using the bootable USB, but it just hangs on "System uptime in nanoseconds." You can see that screen in the second screenshot. Thanks for your help.

Messed with DSDT, now system won't boot

Hi folks, I updated to 10.7.5 using Software Update (silly, I know) and lost audio, so I tried using multibeast to repair it using all the audio options, but nothing worked. Finally I selected the UserDSDT option and selected a dsdt.aml file I thought was for my system. Apparently I was...

Beautiful graphics with rBoot, ugly graphics with HD boot

Hi friends, Thanks to the help of elcid89, I've got my 10.7 machine up and running, but I've got a strange graphics issue. When I boot with rBoot, the graphics are perfect (high res, dual monitor), but for some reason when I boot normally using the hard drive, I only get low-res graphics on...

    Three errors, unable to boot

For those who might come after, I fixed the DMI error by reordering the boot priority of my hard drives in the BIOS setting; turns out the main hard drive wasn't on top.

    Three errors, unable to boot

Alright, I used rBoot to get back into the Lion install, ran Multibeast again and used a DSDT file this time for my mb. When I try to reboot, though, I still get stuck at "Verifying DMI pool data". Is this a problem with the bootloader? How should I go about fixing it?

    Three errors, unable to boot

Thanks, I checked and there is no Extensions.mkext (there is the Extensions directory in Library, but that's it). When I try to boot into Lion now, here's the error I get:

    Three errors, unable to boot

Alright, progress! I made it to the last step of the instructions, changed directories, but couldn't "rm Extensions.mkext*" No such file/directory. (Tried with and without the asterisk... such a good day for learning unix commands!)

    Three errors, unable to boot

Thanks for the quick reply, elcid89. To do that (which I've never done before), I go into Single User mode and use the rm command? EDIT: Tried using -s, still hung at these errors.

    Three errors, unable to boot

Hi Friends, I'm upgrading my 10.6 install to 10.7. Used the latest Unibeast. Was able to complete the installation and ran Multibeast in Lion with EasyBeast. (I searched for solutions and tried a couple, but nothing worked) When I - Boot directly from the HD, it hangs on "Verifying DMI pool...
