Will my Nvidia Graphics Card work with macOS ? List of Desktop Cards with Native Support

Most of us only either only have NVIDIA hardware, can't afford to buy a second card, or some people are so dedicated to NVIDIA that they would die if they touched an AMD card (a.k.a. fanboys/fangirls). In my case I simply cannot afford another card. I hackintoshed my Alienware R4 17 laptop back...

Alienware R4 17 (Nvidia Web Drivers) Brightness Fix? (Need Help)

Do you know how to do this? The IOReg is just for informational data and as far as I know can't make changes to a machine. I did find my AppleDisplay in IOReg under NVDA,Display-B@1, and tried changing the name to AppleBacklightDisplay, but it switched back to AppleDisplay. Is there something...

Alienware R4 17 (Nvidia Web Drivers) Brightness Fix? (Need Help)

I've successfully gotten my laptop running smoothly with mostly everything working, but the one thing I cannot figure out is how to make it so I can change my screen brightness. I've read RehabMan's guides about fixing brightness but neither of them are for Nvidia graphics. Does anyone have any...

Alienware R4 17 USB Boot Errors in High Sierra

I did this, but I still have the same errors. Safe Mode still crashes as well. Something interesting I found. Safe Mode is actually getting a Kernel panic (image attached).

I'm hackintoshing an Alienware R4 17 with an Intel Core i7-7820HK, a GTX 1070m, and an SSD. and I used the following guide to create my USB: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/ I am able to get into Clover just fine, but I cannot...

Lenovo Y50-70 UEFI No Boot Options in Clover Bootloader

Turns out this actually worked, I just didn't wait long enough and the installer booted. I've successfully been able to Boot to El Capitan on my SSD with full Graphics acceleration, HDMI is working, Audio is working, etc. Thank you so much for the help @RehabMan !

Lenovo Y50-70 UEFI No Boot Options in Clover Bootloader

I've experimented and changed BIOS setting to how this guide says it should be: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-lenovo-y50-uhd-or-1080p-using-clover-uefi.232960/ I already had these setting in place. I also tried disabling my GTX 960, which also resulted in the "Bluetooth" "Error". I...

Lenovo Y50-70 UEFI No Boot Options in Clover Bootloader

Alright, sorry I seem to be skimming over a lot of things. I've attached my Clover from my USB EFI Folder with the erased themes and the F2+F4 process.

Lenovo Y50-70 UEFI No Boot Options in Clover Bootloader

I was not able to do this process as I am not able to boot into the hackintosh. But I do have manual photos of running verbose mode, as well as the clover preboot.log I downloaded El Capitan a while ago from my Late 2012 21.5" iMac, and created the installer on that Mac as well.

Lenovo Y50-70 UEFI No Boot Options in Clover Bootloader

Okay, this worked perfectly, and using verbose mode, I'm getting the typical Missing Bluetooth Transport Control "Error". So I followed the big El Capitan issues list: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/big-list-of-solutions-for-el-capitan-install-problems.173991/#MBCT My config.plist already...
