Installed a second video card on my hack build - on the Windows 10 SSD boot, all is well.
Rebooted the computer, hit F-12 and tried booting into Sierra. Screen goes blank and then I get a white circle with a slash through it.
no boot on the Mac side. No new software, just a new video card...
With Toleda's help, got displayport audio working - still no keyboard controls over volume, etc. but that part is still working. My Gigabyte Gaming 7 lists the Creative Sound Core 3D chip as it's audio system.
So my noob question is how to go about implementing it so I can run audio through my...
Using up to date nVidia drivers to run my 4K monitor over Displayport - that's all good.
What isn't good is no audio to my monitor speakers. In system preferences, no audio output options are listed.
So - this isn't motherboard audio - it's my EVGA GTX 980 Ti...
Ideas?? Anything? I dual boot...
Got my hackintosh up and running - but realize (in my ignorance) that when i used multibeast to get up and going, I neglected to choose ethernet and audio drivers...

Rebooted and held down F12 - and there it was - "Boot OSX...

Has anyone got any...

Heard fantastic stuff about tonymac and am VERY interested in trying a project. The buyer's guides are fantastic as are the installation guides for the software/BIOS end.
But - I can't find (and am sure it's just me) guides for the physical construction of the myriad parts that go into the...
