I own a Early 2008 Macbook that was "hackintoshed" so it could run ML. I gave it to my sister, but I still use it every once in a while. My current laptop quadboots Win10, Win7, Ubuntu MATE, and El Capitan (on skylake).

BUT the question is... Will Cannon Lake be an easy BIOS update? Or will it involve a whole new mobo? Who knows.
