Hi, @CaseySJ I got an interesting result today. I tried not to connect USB 2.0 cable to flashed GC-TITAN RIDGE v1.0 then Ultrafine 4K can 100% successfully Display in cool Boot in some condition. However, there are still some problems: 1. Thunderbolt 3 Recognize Problem --Thunderbolt 3...

Yeh, I know Thunderbolt 3 is able to work without SSDT, I still found some problems, though. Take my situation for instance, if I use iMac19,1 firmware without SSDT, Thunderbolt 3 hotplog is invalid; it only can boot with devices and show 20Gb/s x2 rather than 40Gb/s x1 in System Information.

Actually, you can't use Titan Ridge AIC without SSDT in host status. Because in iMac, Mac Pro, and MacBook, all their thunderbolt 3 ports should be accompanied with SSDT(you can see the picture from my MacBook Pro in below). It sounds strange, that is the necessary rule, though.

Sorry, I can’t tell the difference between them. I just literally translated the Chinese words printed on the back of CH314A Programmer.

The screenshots I attached with are based on iMac19,1 firmware on GC-Titan Ridge. As for eGPU firmware on GC-Titan Ridge, it can only be recognised by my Macbook Pro, because it was in peripheral status. Comparison between "iMac19,1 firmware" and "eGPU firmware" iMac19,1 firmware...

I'm so sorry for that. I forgot to tell you the firmware should still go with SSDT.

No problem. Here you are! As you can see in the picture, the firmware version is "47.1". That is the latest Thunderbolt 3 firmware for iMac19,1.

Sorry, I have to make a correction. The original firmware from iMac19,1 should go with SSDT, and its situation is the same as NVM23. My motherboard: H170m-D3H Thunderbolt device connection to Port 1: Good Thunderbolt device connection to Port 2: Good USB-C device connection to Port 1: boot...

Yep! I used CH341A Programmer to flash my Titan Ridge card. Right! The software will recognize the chip automatically. So, all you need to do is to open the firmware in that software, and then flash it to your Titan Ridge card. It’s simpler than using Terminal.

Hello! I flashed original Thunderbolt 3 firmware from iMac 19.1 to my GC-TITAN RIDGE, and now it works perfectly! Correction: The original firmware from iMac19,1 should go with SSDT, and its situation is the same as NVM23. Besides, I also tested BlackmagicDesign eGPU firmware on GC-TITAN...
