Found the solution. Apparently this only started affecting me after I started using the generatepstates/generatecstates and dropssdt statements in the boot.plist. By going back to hard coded c/p states in the dsdt.aml, I no longer lose performance after sleep. Hope that helps.

I can confirm this. Cinebench drops from 35 to 21 after sleep. Geekbench drops from almost 12k down to 6k. Will have to look into this and/or keep the system from sleeping to maintain performance.
