Thanks for the reply I am currently using that one but it doesn't seem to fix my random freezes I get them randomly when coming out of sleep or inserting a usb drive sometimes. Though they do seem to be fewer than before.

I did a fresh install using the regular multibeast method except this time I used a dsdt for my motherboard from Pjalm haven't had any freezes so far except when coming back from sleep once. :thumbup:

Reading about Mac types has me thinking this might help me with my setup and getting it stable. Care to point me in the direction of some guides or information on this subject?
I have the 4690k with a EVGA 750TI if that helps and i'm using the mac 3.1 settings

You are correct first install snow leopard on your pc and then download yosemite from the app store to create the bootable usb and then install yosemite with the usb and during the installation just remove your snow leopard installation.
I did the same with 2x SSD's Simply unplugged the windows SSD and followed the installation guide. I then plugged the windows SSD again (make sure to connect it to the same sata slot as before) and set boot to the Chameleon boot loader. All done!

Thanks for the reply I landed up doing a fresh install and then following Toleda's guide to installing sound all works good as long as pc doesn't go to sleep. So fix one issue get two more the second being freeze after sleep.
